These will boot into DOS, you can start 2e with:
plan9\b
Once you want to shutdown cleanly, run:
disk/kfscmd halt
The only user present on the demo image is the 'none' user.
The vbox archive is a full install from the 2e cdrom with the 'none' user patched into existence.

These are the install diskettes for second edition.
Disk1 is required in all cases as it is the boot floppy which is used to configure installations.
Disk[2-4] contain the files for the 'demo' installation of Plan 9 second edition.
Plan9_2e.iso contains the files for the 'full' installation of Plan 9 second edition.
The *.vd files are the actual data for the Disk[2-4] images and rather than being dd'd onto a floppy, must be copied onto a DOS-formatted floppy.

This is an archive of the files installed into the PLAN9\ directory in DOS after a successful CDROM installation. They may prove interesting for historical purposes.
